This is a very simple,delicious and easy to make Entree . It is a one pot dish except that I make it in a slow cooker and then reduce the gravy in a regular pot. The chicken comes out very tender in the slow cooker and I don’t have to watch it!!
It’s one of my favorite dish as it is very easy to make yet it tastes like a gourmet dish, good enough to serve when you have company. Karahi is a special pot which is rounded at the bottom and has 2 handles on the sides. Basically, all the ingredients are put together at one time in a karahi and it cooks on slow till done. You can eat this dish with tandoori nan. If you eat low carb you can enjoy it with any of your favorite salad.
Ingredients
- 5 chicken drumsticks skin off
- 3 medium tomatoes puréed
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- One Anaheim pepper chopped
- 2 tsp Shan karahi or korma masala
- 1/2 -1 lemon as needed

Recipe
Put all the ingredients in the slow cooker and cook on high for 2.5 hours.Once done transfer to a regular pot and reduce gravy. Garnish with cilantro and squeeze some lemon juice!!! So easy!!
